Default Stock Head Unit Removal?

I search and found the dash removal post I was wondering is that the same way to remove the radio also? or is there another way? In the sample it showed a manual Z and mine is auto just wondering if it was different removal process.

its kind of a PITA the first time, but its not as difficult as it seems

For the automatic, you use a small screw driver at the back of the silver ring, then the front, it slides up so you can finish removing it, oh yeah, put it in Drive first.
