so as the title says...who uses their iphone in their 350z on the ipod function? and if so how or where do yall mount or put ur phone?

 

I just use the monster transmitter plugged into the cig. lighter.... works just fine

 

i use the touch in my Z, but I have an integrated cable for my head unit and keep it in a mount in my armrest.

 

Ditto, Pioneer BT7900 ftw. I don't mount it. I used the extra slot since my radio is single DIN. I also, i have a rubber sleeve for my Touch so it doesn't slid in the slot. I leave it in the EQ menu so i can change the settings on the fly.

 

i believe the iphone only works with certain radios. i tried it with my DD kenwood and it didnt read it. then we tried it with a pioneer and it worked.

 

Does it work he new AVIC-D3? If it does I'm gonna switch out my D1 for a D3!

 

Works with my Avic Z1, but I don't really use it since the Z1 maintains its own music library.

Sorry for late response, just joined the boards... I have a pioneer AVH-P6800DVD, I ran the ipod cable up into the cubby (no navi). I have the bluetooth module, so I plug the phone in and close the cubby, all phone/ipod controls are directly from the deck. I ran another iPod AV cable from the cubby to the aux inputs on the deck for doing video, but I have to disconnect from the pioneer ipod cable and plug into the av cable for video functions, and I have to control the video functions from the ipod itself (no ipod video support on the p6800)

yeah the iphone works with the pioneer d3

 

Works with the USA*SPEC PA11-NIS too.

I just have to tell mine to not use airplane mode.

 

My Iphone works with my Alpine W-200. I just plug the phone into the Ipod cable, cable and Iphone are hidden in the upper cubby.

 

I use mine with the Kenwood DNX 7100.

 

mine wouldn't work with my clarion max675vd.
