There isn't a good ground anywhere near the fuse box location? I need to jump over to the center console?
i'm sure there is.. i just havn't used one so i can't recommend it.. any bare metal should be a good ground.. thats why i suggested a volt meter.. that way you can actually see what is giving you good ground.. or if you have to grind/sand it down
my rule is find the thickest metal, closest to the amp then grind down to bare metal. the shorter the ground lead, the better. if you can get to chassis to ground, that would be the best.
this is what works best for a good strong ground
(try to paint over it to prevent rust on the spot you grind if its a small connection you can even use nail polish)
