critique (not flame) my new system choices!
i had a set of focal polyglass speakers in my brothers car for a while, but the tweeters are just too damn harsh.
anyways, i am plannin on ordering this setup in the next few days for mine. lemme know what you think, and if it will work well together...
Comps: dls UP6
Amp for comps: ED nine.2
Sub: Image Dynamics IDQ10V3 (4 ohm? or 2, not sure...)
Sub Amp: ED nine.2 (i can bridge that, cant i?)
30 sq ft of ED's light sound deadening material for the doors.
thats about the extent of my budget... (works out perfectly actually)
im in the process of making a sub box (similar to syntaxerror's) and will have both amps in the drivers side cubby.
thanks a ton!!!

not bad, again, on the up6, as any other pseaker, my opinion is still if you put it in stock locations, they wont generate much midbass and the highs maybe a bit forward

its hard to compare the two, both i think would sound good and have similar performance, just pick th eone you like thelooks of better
i hae never done an back to back A/B comparison of the subs in the same enviroment, so its very hard to compare, bu ti really do love the way the new IDQ sounds and have a lot of output
and i know the IDQ should be much lighter than the FI, with its composite basket
