eclipse headunit help from the experts

Default eclipse headunit help from the experts

i have the eclipse AVN-5435 navi hu

the ipod interface and the dvd slot with the navi disk is fully functional

but i cannot play cds in the cd slot the hu will knot recognize it at all

i tryed mp3 cds and its not working at all can some 1 help

i emailed those people at eclipse about 3 times now and no response back

great customer service

some 1 please help me out

yea i burned them tryed about 4 different ones

am i just formating them wrong

or

whats going on i dont understand

^^ It's probably the format that defeating your efforts.

There are too many variables in this situation to make any discussion viable. We could go on forever.

The next step should be having a buddy burn/create a disk and see if that works.

I understand how frustating this is.

Try a regular CD that is not burned, and if it works you know that it is a problem with the format, and if it doesn't you know that you have a bad CD drive on the deck.

It tells you in the manual for the unit what format the burned disk needs to be.

Also, the customer service at Eclipse won't be able to help you. Eclipse deals only through authorized dealers for a reason......so when you have a problem you can go back to that dealer for professional help in-person.
