Default Thoughts on Kicker

My friend is currently selling me his 2 Kicker CVR comps for 150 for both.

They are both 12".

I'm not very familiar with subs or anything like that for the matter...so i'm asking you guys if they are worth the money or if I am better off just buying something else?

Thank you ahead of time.

I have personally heard the cvr comps and they sounded very clean and they hit very hard. I would check ebay prices to see how much you should pay.

cvrs are good for the money and great when powered with a nice amp. save for a good amp and i think you will be very pleased. price sounds ok go for it and good luck!

I will jump in and say that if you just put the subs and an amp in your car you will be very disappointed. I would work on the front stage first and then move to the subs. Do a lot of research and you will be happy in the end. Also to answer your question what kind of music do you listen to will get you a better answer.

I listen to just about anything. What do you mean by the front stage? Just like the front speakers.

Should i order the spacers from zenclosure for it then?

I used to rock only fosgate, but after I bought kicker subs and amps I haven't went back. For the price you're getting it's okay. I was able to get a brand new 12' for $75.
