im stuck between the eclipse avn 6620, the pioneer f90bt and the kenwood DNX8120

i know the kenwood is probably the best but i dont know if it justifies the extra $300

I can't speak for the others, but I've got the 8120 and I love it. Got it from Nazar at WickedCAS (sponsor on here).

I would stay away from pioneer. these new f series are nothing but empty promises. Search Pioneer forum and read people's opinions.
you can go to www.live.com and get some cashback to save few bucks for whichever product you want to get..

All the devices you mention are good units. If the GPS feature is important to you, I would go with the DNX8120 since it provides better performance (faster screen-redraws and guidance).

We sell the Eclipse's at work and I've installed a royal *** load in our own vehicles and customer's vehicles, no complaints what so ever about them. Very happy with their features!

^^ How do you rate GPS performance between Kenwood and Eclipse?

Is either one faster than the other (redraws, routing and “re-routing,” etc.)?

^^ I agree that Eclipse makes a very good GPS device. My point was that the Garmin-based Kenwood devices provide noticeably better performance.

I can't speak to the others, but considering that I get lost when I go to the bathroom and Garmin got me from Kentucky to North Carolina and back without a hitch, I'm kind of partial to Garmin.
