AVIC-Z1 install guide?
Did a search, but couldn't find one.. mine also comes with a rear view came, bluetooth adapter, ipod adapter and sirius adapter so it'd be nice if the guide included that too. Oh and how do I disable the stupid requirement to park in order to program the nav? Thanks!!
well, the wiring is pretty straight-forward with this unit. The bypass is the hardest part though. You also may need to update the software as well. Most of your questions can be ansered by using the search feature on www.avic411.com
Short of somebody here installing this unit for you, there is not much we can do for you that you can't do yourself with some simple research.
As for the bluetooth and Ipod modules, you will need to daisy chain these with the IP-BUS connectors. Matching up the inputs and the outputs is crucial (purple with purple, black with black).
Good luck!
