Anybody have the Clarion DXZ785USB in their 350Z?
I am thinking of getting this single DIN unit for my Z. Just curious if anyone else has it and how they like it. Pics? I want something that sounds good, has easy IPOD connections, and cna match the Z's lighting.

The Clarion DXZ785USB has a SRP of $399.00, but you won’t pay this amount. I see advertized prices at less than $200.00 for this H/U. Less than half-price does seem to good to be true.
Why so inexpensive?
Why so inexpensive?
- It’s the global economy and the fact that new units cost less to manufacture that forces low prices on Clarion’s 2008 line. That is true for almost all electronic devices coming from Asia.
- Also… Clarion has not been able to protect its products from gray-market availability.

Just bought one on Newegg.com for $139.99 shipped! Going to use this one in my son's 08 Xterra. If I like it I'll grab another for the Nismo Z. Newegg.com is listed on the Clarion website as a legit online seller.

^^ The Clarion H/U you mention is a terrific single-din H/U that provides a rich set of features and delivers superior sound. It’s easily worth the $400 SRP.
At $139.00 it’s literally a “steal.”

The speakers I have are Infinity Kappa series component front, with some Infiniti coaxial for the back. Also have a sub and 2 amps.
The only thing I dont like is that it doesn't have the iPod jack......
