Sub enclosures

So I'm planning on getting some subs soon and upgrading all the audio components in my car.
I've pretty much narrowed down the sub enclosures to these three.

What I really want to know is how visibility will be effected if I get one of the first two enclosures and if anybody here has any of these in their car and what they think of it.

If you want a really nice custom leather box that holds a 12 PM me. I'm selling mine. It molds to the rear trunk space it's black leather to match the interior and part of it is a metallic vinyl. The box cost me 400 dollars to have built to my specifications. It has a custom 14 inch slot port at the bottom that faces inwards towards the passenger and driver area. So everytime it hits you can feel the air. I have a diamond d6 subwoofer currently installed that has an RMS of 600 and peak of 1200. Let me tell you if you are looking for bass this is it. It takes ur breath away sometimes. It's just too much for me though which is why I'm getting rid of it.
The type of box really makes the bass I have learned throughout experiences. I also have an alpine 500 watt amp. Let me know if you would be interested in this I can take pictures. My email is TTwinTTurbo@hotmail.com

Amen. If you are going to chose one then go #3. Placement is important when it comes to the situation of the sub(s). Right behind your head is poor placement. Also, are you sure that these enclosures will work for the subs you are using?

As far as placement goes, is the trunk the only good place? It's not like we get a lot of choices in the Z.
TTwinTTurbo-- thanks for the offer but it will probably be a couple months before I do this. I'll keep you in mind though.

I'll take a picture of it and post it. I gaarantee that you'll like it more than the other boxes. Doesn't effect rear visibility. I took the sub out to look at the inside and the port for the box is crazy looking. I'll get it all up soon so you can see. This box will hit harder than any other box that you could put in your car. My friends think I have 2 15's instead of one 12. They also think I have 2000 watts when I only have 500 : )
To have one custom built you are looking at mucho dinero. With fiberglass especially. I had a friend with a custom box that cost 1200 dollars but it was overkill. My cost me a little over 400 dollars to have built.
Oh and when you buy a box online the internal airspace etc is not built for any specific subwoofer. Each subwoofer is different and requires a different kind of enclosure to sound the best. Ported/non-ported etc. It's just not a good idea to buy a box not specifically built for the sub you are going to run. Ask an audio guru they will tell you the same

Z enclosures ftw. Further support to them, I had my box custom sized to work for the volume of sub I needed.
Tell them what you want (call) and they'll do it for you. 100% happy with both purchases (speaker spacers) I've made, quality, fair pricing, and great customer service.

Rear firing and made from wood will sound best. If your just looking for something that looks ghetto-cool get a massive box but 1x 12 or 2x 10s will sound great in a sealed box rear firing. I think ZEN makes a great product and they understand sound dynamics.
