Default Lookig for opinions from guys who already have one

I am about to order my sub box for a single 10" W6V2 but cant decide between the Zenclosures regular single 10" box with amp rack or the type S box with amp rack. Mike at Zenclosures say either box will work well with a W6 and the only difference is the type S sits a little further inside the strut tower bar. Anybody that has already purchased one of these have any feedback or able to point out anything I havent thought about or considered yet?

That's what I have. It is very clean looking and you get more trunk room with the type S.

Sorry to hijack the thread, I just have a question for the guys with the type S Zenclosure boxes. Can you still get to your spare tire and put the full size tire in it's place without removing the box, in case of a flat? I asked Mike G. at Zenclosures and he was not 100% sure. Has anyone tried this?

I have the 10W7 and Zenclosures box with amp rack. not type S I can still remove spare but its a pain. clean looking setup though. makes some good boxes as for a full sized tire with this box... good luck, and I hope your passenger dont mind holding it... this is the regular 10" box not Type S

I was running a 10W6 with the type S box and it sounded great.

i have the understrut i like it better than the type s because the understrut gives you room on both sides, room in the trunk but also a separate area behind the rear speakers to toss stuff while your in the car. the type s you have to get out to get to the trunk.

on a side note, i just installed my box less than 2 weeks ago and decided to go to 2 8's ive already ordered the box so ill sell you my 10" box youll save a little bit and its in perfect condition. let me know

I have the regular 10" box, just because I like having the empty space right behind the seats.
