Default NAV System DVDs????

Sup folks..I'm taking a trip in 2 weeks & would like to know where I can get an up to date NAVIGATION DVD as opposed to the 2003 DVD that I have?

The dealer sells them for 330.00!!!!!

Thanks in advance!

Buy it or pirate it.

That wasn't hard to figure out.

Because this thread is useless. The OP knows exactly what he/she has to do. Its either:

a) Pay their form of currency for the updated navigation DVD

or

b) Download the DVD, burn, enjoy.

I have answered the question at hand, even though the OP knew these answers from the beginning. The reason they started this thread was because they wanted a hand-out, someone to pretty much give them the disc. The least the OP could do is D/L it themselves if they want it for free.....

^^ OK, I get it and understand your point (which is valid).

I responded to your message for these reasons:
  • $330 for a new DVD disk seems high for a NAVTEQ or Tele Atlas map update, and application software. Nissan uses Xanavi application software (Xanavi is Clarion’s GPS division). I’m pretty sure he can get the DVD for much less.

  • Obtaining a pirated copy is not wise. The pirated copy may not (likely won’t) work correctly, and this practice certainly increases the cost of legitimate software that honest buyers pay. It’s stealing, and only increases the price.

My advice is to shop for the best price and buy a legitimate disk. With this said, I would never use a DVD-based navigation system.

www.zenrin.com, they make the updated map cds for our car, they're running a special right now, $140 for the updated disk. I dunno if the link below will work but thats for an 03' 350Z.

^^ Great information. Thanks for posting very good advice. Obviously the dealership is not the best source navigtion-update disks.
