Default What to do with OEM NAV

I will be replaceing my 2006 Bose headunit with an AVIC F90B. My car also has the OEM NAV that is built in above the stock HU. Since the new HU has NAV what can I do with my exiosting nav display? I would like to keep it in the car but no need for two NAV's. Anyone have the same set up?

What about adding something similar to THIS and connecting the nav screen to the F90B as a second monitor?

That is a pretty cool unit but for the $350 asking price I can get the AVIC F90 for just $200 more. But thanks for the info!

Doesn't the oem nav tell you oil life and other goodies that non-nav 350z's do? Like when your maintenance is or what not. I remember seeing it in JasonZ-YA's car and was uber-jealous.

What about using it as a back-up camera screen?

the maintenance on the stock nav is pretty much useless. you get those lil stickers on your windshield to tell you when your next service would be so dont be jealous.

I think you have received good answers.

I would also like to mention that having two navigations screens active isn’t a waste of resources. Set one unit to routing (directions and voice navigation) and have the other screen display just your map. That way you have an active route along with a “long range” map display. This arrangement is actually useful.

Of course, you can use either the OEM display or your aftermarket LCD for other tasks (backup camera, forward view camera, etc.), which is also cool.
