Default Installed f90bt now OEM NAV is frozen

I installed a Pioneer f90bt over the week end. Everything went well and the system works great. However my OEM NAV screen is stuck on the startup Warning screen and will not respond to any input. I used a Metra wiring harness but only has two connections where as the factory wiring harness for the Bose HU has for plugs that go into the back of the Bose unit. I was told that the two unused plugs were not needed as they are primarily for the OEM Nav voice. I guess that is not totally true. Has anyone had this problem? Can you help me get the old NAV responding to commands?

Maybe you need those other two wires connected.

If your OEM navigation isn’t responding, that might because it’s waiting for input to its CPU.

In your case it’s likely a lack of left and right A/V input that causes this problem.

You can get help from Xanavi (Clarion’s navigation division).
