Did you put in an aftermarket radio? Did you hook up the illumination wire?
When checking fuses did you use a meter or just visually check them? Sometimes you can't visually tell a fuse has been blown.
Your problem is similar to what happens when you incorrectly hook up the dimmer wire when installing a head unit - if this is the case you should be able to disconnect the illumination wire and replace the fuse and be good to go.

^^ Good advice on the H/U installation. You understand.
When installing a new H/U, there are often questions such as:
Aftermarket wiring harnesses make the job much easier, but they do not always blend perfectly to the OEM harness. They can only do so much.
There is no substitute for a Professional Installer who has seen many of the variations and knows what to do achieving a successful installation of complicated equipment.

- What is this wire for?
- Where should I connect this wire?
- How come I have a “left-over” wire that doesn’t seem to connect to anything?
