Sound deading material
I really don't know much about audio but is there really a difference between Dynamat or another brand such as fat-mat? Thanks audio experts

You will get all kinds of answers here I'm sure, I can tell you this, you get what you pay for! The only company I like better than Dynamat is Second Skin audio but they are even more expensive. If you search you can find Dynamat extreme REALLY cheap!
Good Luck

Not familiar with the other brands, but I just did my 370 in Dynamat Xtreme and have noticed a marked difference in road noise.

^^ It's a very good product, and I agree that it reduces the Z's tire and road noise.

Yeah. It's funny. My 350 was just noisy all over. The 370 is buttloads quieter up front, but it seems like I could hear every little pebble and wave in the road in the rear. This stuff really subdued a lot of noise. All except the grunting a whining that went on when I installed it.
