Default please help with bose audi on Z

I have a 2003 350z, i cant get the subwoofer located behind driivers seat. Is there a switch to turn it on or some kinda controls for it. I go to the audio menu and turn the bass up but that only works for the smaller speakers. the sub does not sound at all.

please help

^^ That sounds to be a physical problem. It's probably a wring issue, a faulty amp, or a problem with the Bose H/U.

If there is no power to the Bose SubW amp, it's likely a problem with the OEM Bose H/U.

If there is power to the amp and from there no power on the speaker wire to the SubW, your problem is either a faulty amp or wiring to the SubW

It would be foolish to repair this problem buying Bose OEM replacement parts since you will pay a lot of $$’s to get inferior equipment.

You are wise to plan a replacement that includes at least the H/U, front component speakers, and an external amp. If you have more $$’s to spend, get a new SubW with its own/dedicated amp.

Agree with Spike. To get to the sub woofer, sub-amp and amplifier, gently pull off the plastic cover that is held by clips.

I would not be surprised if your sub is actually working. It's just truly that awful. I am searching these forums now to see how to rip that piatzo shee-hite out of there and stick a real sub in the OEM hole. The Bose "sub" in my Mazda 6 is about the same, ie.) can't even tell if it's on!
