Amazing really all i can say amazing. Be sure to do a proper install because these amps are very sensitive and can be burned out easily( if wires are connected the wrong way to the amp ).

I just ordered the Xtant 6.1 for mine and my girls Infinity Perfect 10.1d. Everything I read about Xtant said they were incredible amps. I can't wait to get it all hooked up.

They're really just an MTX inside, save the money and buy MTX.

I've heard good things, but I've seen many come back on warranty as well. I believe (personal opinion worth nothing) that thay (at least the oolder ones I had experience with) seemed more sensitive to heat, although many of the installs we did didn't expose them to lots of air, either, so.. Uh.. guess that doesn't help at all, huh?

I know of two shops that dropped Xtant due to reliability issues when they were introduced way back when, and they continued to be troublesome for lots of dealers. But like I said, Xtant amps are just an overpriced MTX now, so they are solid amps, just to spendy for what they are...

I work at a big electronics store in IL. And I have had a 3ch Xtant amp installed. This amp is the best amp I have ever used. I have tried a lot of brands from MTX, Alpine, PPI, Kicker, nothing compares to Xtant as far as sound quality and reliability. We hardly ever get an Xtant amp back. If they are installed right they never come back. Who ever said that they are a MTX inside does not know what they are talking about. I would say get one, you will love it.

Yes, they don't come back anymore because they're made by someone else.

And if you don't believe me, open one up and look at the board, and then compare to MTX.

yeah, I didn't mention that I had heard out shop dropped them for that same reason (before I started working there), but we still kept getting them back on warranty.

I bought the 2001 XTANT 4 channel 604x amp and the 2 channel 1001x amp and had them professionally installed in my last car along with eclipse aluminum subs and all Mb Quart highs. Let me tell you, they are the best amps money can buy. They are not only the best looking amps out there, but they are also the most efficient. The best thing about these amps is that they are fully upgradeable. Once you take the case off, as Ralphus said , you will see where they really differ from lower quality amps. On the main board, you will see blank slots where modules can be inserted to upgrade/change certain characteristics of your frequency levels depending on what type of music you listen to.
