chatter/tekken,

They have already said that the first boxes aren't going to be ready until end of Feb. So, don't get into too much of a hurry.

If you want a box soon, you should get something else.

I am not in a rush, but I hate waiting on something that I can't see. All I am waiting on is the pic of the back of the box. So that I know that I am waiting for something that I want or not. How hard is that? <M>

Seriously..

This picture doesn't show much. It represent something we'd ideally want but how does the thing sit in side the car? How flush is it to the plastic panels adjacent to our seats? A pic from the back would tell alot.

Right now I can't even tell if it's a swap meet boom box or some high quality JL stuff. I'm just imagining it's good!

I contacted JL ADUIO and they have ignored my emails.
I just asked what was the ETA and for pics of the back end.
Don't think that was asking too much....at least a reply would have been nice.

I will probably wait to see what this looks like in someone's car and either install this if it is nice or go custom in the end.

You guys are alot more patient than I am

God......you guys have some cheese with all that whine?

Here's a concept.....give the manufacturer, whose product has almost always been of excellent design and quality, the time to release the product and then make your decision. No wonder most companies keep mum about their new products until they are actually available for purchase. JL gives us a preview and look at the responses they get.

It's still healthy speculation though. That's what the forums are all about right? I mean the fact that everyone is fussing over it gives it more hype and keeps it relevant in everyone's mind.

I'm sure if it was completely revealed people would be like "oh that's great I want one" everything is answered and no buzz.
"keeping mum" is a great marketing strategy right after throwing out a concept prior to a release. In this gracing period the manufacturers can perfect the product according to the trend or feedback from the market.

This thread gets hit up almost everyday (since Adam and Eve) and that's an awesome thing for a product that only has one picture. JL is going to release according to the feedback and demand it gets and even the crappy speculation is worth it.

I really dont think asking for pictures of the back end is asking for too much....but not everyone sees things the same way which is a good thing. If it looked great at all angles, how hard could it have been for them to add 1 more picture on the website showing the backside....Imho, there is a reason they are not showing the back end and I just wanted them to allay my concerns. In my email response from them, JL gave me a very good detailed description of the box and I now have a better idea of how this thing looks. And I aint the only 350z guy emailing those guys, trust me....

Got the stealthbox installed yesterday. The sound quality is magnificent. Very clean sounding. If you are a basshead I do suggest that you look elsewhere though. It sounds great, but not too many DBs. Of course that isn't what stealthboxes are really made for anyways. I was a little dissappointed in the look of the box though. The carpet doesn't really match anything in the car. It is too dark to match the trunk carpet and it just doesn't quite look right against the rest of the car. Not real bad but definately not an "excellent match". Its raining here so no pics yet but I will try and have some up pretty quick.
