Default Pioneer touch screen options

I have a question for those who know about the pioneer nav systems.

First... How well does the AVD-W6210 touchscreen fit in the nav hole? Any pics of this install would be great.

Second... If that touchscreen does not fit well, or if anyone knows of a better match/fit, will a touchscreen from another manufacturer work with the pioneer nav unit?

Thanks guys

Take a look at this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=54376
I don't believe that this touch screen will fit in the NAV compartment. I have been trying to determine if there is a NAV combo that works, but so far no luck.

I ran a search and came accross that thread. Does anyone know if any other touch screens can be used with the pioneer nav unit?

For sure there are absolutely NO screens that will run off of the pioneer Nav unit... I am pretty sure though if you rip off the "lid" to the stock Nav compartment then you can fit the screen in there. That is what I am doing on Saturday.... I have the Navigation system: Avic-88DVD, and the AVD-w6210 touch screen

I had the screen removed from its frame. Then the bottom panel was cut off and placed in front of the screen. Works great! Look here:

That's unusual....Pioneer makes some pretty reliable mobile audio products. Did you buy it new or a refurb?
