I'm thinking about getting a Pioneer double-din. Can you use the stock Bose speakers and sub with a Pioneer double-din?

Thanks.

Wow, didn't know it was so expensive! Is this the only way?

Would it be a better idea just to replace the speakers as well?

Absolutely. Even a $100 pair of 5 1/4" speakers with the new HU will sound better than the OEM Bose.

Yes you can use the standard soeakers and yes if you can afford to i'd get some better quality speakers, you'd be surprised at just how much better your system would sound.

if you are willing to spend money on a new headunit it is better to spend the 45.00 on that piece to make your investment worthwhile. replacing the speakers would help even more
The reason you need that interface is to convert the signal levels from your headunit to
to match that which the stock amp is designed for. the stock speakers are cheap. you would aggree when you take them out. the info here will help you out

Thanks for all the tips so far. I agree, aftermarket speakers sound much better.

The only problem is that I have no idea where to place the amps to power the speakers and sub.

^^ Place your external amplifiers in the large compartments behind the driver and passenger seat. That position is a “natural” for external amp. There is plenty of room and the amps are easily cooled in this position.
