No Cutting-Which Screen?
I have a 2004 base model with no navi and would like a screen to fit in the exact compartment. I've heard of others having to get things cut and what not, but I don't want that. Does any screen fit in the compartment perfectly? Thanks in advance.

the 04 door doesn't retract like the 03, having said that keep in mind that the door itself may be thicker on the 04 then on the 03, so when it is closed it may hit the screen.. id don't know just a thought.

dude, just get the farenhiet 7001. it mounts from the back, no cutting required. i fits perfect. BUT.....if you want to make sure you see the infra-red eye on the screen you might want to cut a small notch out of the border of your nav bin. you will see what im talking about when you get the screen. its easy, i did it

7001
Can't you set up the Farenheit 7001 so that it turns on when the screen receives a video feed? Like an automatic turn on feature? Some farenheit screens have it, I forget how my friend has his setup I'll have to ask him
