Guys I really want to get some better audio in my G35c. Please give me some suggestions, I do not want a sub in the trunk because that space is valuable. Can I just replace the stock speakers and call it a day? I am willing to replace the stock amp but I don't want anything really loud. I listen to Rap/hip-hop and while bass is important it isn't the main factor. Looking to spend around $1000 w/ Install. I will be keeping the stock headunit but adding a PAC audio Aux-in For an MP3 player.

Yeah, just putting in new speakers + amp will make a big difference. Have you considered a small sub in the trunk or is a sub a definite no-no? How about the alpine basslink?
