Thumbs up Auto window up (from remote) installed

I got to the shop around 4:00 on Friday afternoon, and sitting on my desk as promised was my auto window up module from KPierson. I wish I would have taken pics but my cam was out of batteries.

Here is my review:

Module packaging: Very professional looking black box about half the size of a pack of cigarettes with 5 wires exiting one side.

Instructions: Very detailed instructions and explanations of what each wire does and the theory behind the logic of the system. I really enjoyed this, being an engineer and all. The wiring was dead on except that the Z has 3 white wires and you must pick the correct one. (If anyone is wondering it is the one on the lower right or upper left, depending on how you are holding the harness. Its the only white wire that in a corner slot on the harness)

Install: It took me about an hour and a half. The trickiest part of the install was the above "white wire". Having to install again it would take maybe 45min to an hour. I do wish the black box was a little smaller but it mounted fine with wire ties to the wire loom located just above and to the left of the speaker.

Performance: Cool Cool Cool We had a crowd at the shop on Friday night as I pulled her out with the windows down. I posed the car so that everyone would see and said check this out. I hit the lock twice and about a second after my sport horns chirped, the windows rolled themselves up.

Being a beta tester for this product I had to continue the demonstration the rest of the night. I did encounter a couple times where the windows would only go up half way, but it seemed like my timing may have been a bit off in pressing the buttons on the remote. Out of the 50 or so times I have done it, 5 times it only went up half way. it has not done it in the last 25 tries at all so it may have just been confused with me raising and lowering the windows non stop while I was testing.

Thanks KPierson, Great product!

hmm i dont get it.
tell me if im wrong.
you can roll ur windows up/down with factory remote.
press and holding lock button will roll it down.
pressing and holding unlock button will roll it up.
(or other way,,)
therefore, y do you need a seperate system to do this?

you cal only roll in down with the remote, not up... give it a try, you'll see, or read the manual

We are currently working out the problems encountered with the beta units. Once perfected the units will be for sale ASAP.

Check out www.kptechnologies.net for more details!

You're in Cincy eh? Are you availible on the weekends? Wanna be a test car? I've had two of these installed on 350zs (one in tn and the other in dc) and I would like to find a local Z to work with. I'm on the South side of Dayton.

Stopgo (Scott) graciously let me use his car as a test car. Last I heard from him everything was working great!

that would be great! I notice someone from nashville has one and that is close enough to me to drive for an install. how can I get one? I want to be included in the elite too!!!!!! By the way, does the unit void the warranty at all? I have had some window work done and the unit may be a likely excuse for them to say that I have to come out of pocket for service work!!!
