Thumbs up Kenwood DDX 7015 w/ Factory Nav still in place and working *pics*

Got a Kenwood DDX 7015 w/ Sirus installed by the guys at Mobile Connection in San Fernando (I highly recommend them if you live near by). Very clean install, fits perfectly, very professional installers.

They even kept it so the factory navigation voice would cut the radio off just like stock.

Heres a photoshop job to make the install a little more visible, I get some more pictures when the Suns out (flashes were washing it out)

I have a Music Keg coming this week, i'll get some pics up as soon as I get it in.

Very nice! How did you get the trim piece to match up?

Looks awesome!

In the pictures, the Kenwood screen seems to be bigger then the nav. screen.

The Kenwood screen is 6.5" and the nav screen is 7", if i am not mistaken. Does is look bigger because of the way the pix are taken?

Yeah, it's probably a combination of my crappy picture taking skills and the fact that the factory nav is sunken into the dash.

I'm insanely jealous at this point. Having two full-size screens with NAV and DVD is some serious informational overload. There has got to be a law against that.

Pretty snazzy actually.... they put a kenwood center channel speaker in the space under the drivers side dash and used a alarm relay to regulate the voltage switch thru the head unit to activate the call mute. Works (and sounds) just like stock.

First mod i suggest doing if you get one installed is grounding the parking brake lead so you can get a coveted watching **** while in motion ticket, i'll scan it in as soon as I get pinched.
