Default New 350Z enclosure pictures. Left rear corner.

Here is a picture of the new enclosure we are working on. (thanx to JC member on this forums for his donor car.

It houses a 10w3v2 as well as a 10w0.
Will fir on the corner of the left rear of the trunk. As you can see in th epictures it sticks out minimal, and uses the factory JL grille for the sub. The enclosure is still in the works. All pictures are in the "as we build" faze. Note the bondo still on the enclosure. Our thoght are, we will carpet the enclosure to give it a stealty look.

Iknow people have been waiting for this type of enclosure. And I know some people have done this before. We tried to make it look as OEM as possible (note the the angles and the curves that meets the corners). Also keeping in mind this had to be different then anyone elses enclosure. Please let me know your thoughts.

Will have more pics as soon as we have the mold made and have the box back from fiberglass shop.

Nazar

updated with a better picture.

Looks good, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering about the cu ft space and price... also, would one on the other side be possible? I've got two subs and would like to do something similar to this, but don't want to sacrifice one of them...

Hey thats my car!!! Nazar don't forget I rejected the on road sound testing option on my install. No need to do highway quality assurance tests

Too bad I live so far from Nazar's shop or else I would have stopped in. Can't wait to get my baby back!!!

Well, with both windows down going about 135Mph Subwoofer was having a little hard time keeping up with the road noise.

Ok just kidding.

The volume on this box is smaller than we would like it is approx .35 with some polyfill you can achieve a little more. Best sub in this enclosure will be the New 10w1 coming out in a couple months. However 10w3 will work with watching it close on the cleanliness of the amp. Jl 250/1 or similar amps with a lot of control over the sub would be recommended.

Please email me when you have this enclosure available to sale. I will definately buy this one! I planned on having Tweeter build a custom enclosure but I'll wait until yours is available. Do you have an approximate date that you can begin shipping these out? My email: andymarshall777@aol.com Thanks Nazar!

Yes the box sits on top of the carpet. Can be taken in and out easily. We are going for a real factory look with this one.

As far as shipping I will have to wait until we get it back from the fiberglass shop, Install the sub get it to sound the way we would like it to sound and then give it the final finish.

All I need is a volunteer G35 coupe, I know our strut tower boxes fit the G35 Coupes.

Yes these boxes will be available to buy with the sub. We also came up with a way to secure it (bolt on) in the car using an existing hole with minor modification. Price have not been determined, However as you all know us we will keep it fair.

Now here is the great part. It sounds "Wicked" Good.
It has a very tight bass responce. Very responsive to Jazz, Rock, with a distinctive quality. Hip hop and tecno is tight and goes pretty low to our surprize. It is for the person looking for a nice tight bass responce without overwhelming themselves with too much bass. However it is capable to produce more than enough to make the rear view mirror shake.

Don't get me wrong it is not a substitute to our strut tower enclosures, It will not be as loud as 2x10 or 3x10 boxes we have. But for the person who wants to give up minimal space and still have their Z sound good with some very tight and responsive bass, This box just plain rocks.

"Must use a clean amplifier with high dampening factor for control over the sub" This sub box was tested with a 500/5 JL which the sub section is equivelent to a 250/1 JL Audio, Producing 250 Watts at all times between 11.0 Volts to 14.4 Volts. There was NO caps, or any other power additives. Amp was running with a Hi-Volt head unit and 4 Ga power cable, as well as JL ECS series Rca Cables. Factory Nissan Battery. Some Sound deadening was used in sections of the trunk and sections of the doors. Box was filled with poly fill material to help with Volume.

I am attaching a final picture of the finished version.
I want to thank JC again for his donor car.
