Default Has anyone installed an lcd screen in passenger sun visor?

Am interested in getting a screen put in for passenger to view without putting the monitor in the console. Am wondering if anyone has had one installed in the sun visor and if so how much did the install run and was visor big enough for the screen? Thanks!!!

Another shot. Had to scrap the stock visor and fab new one to fit a 6.5" widescreen monitor. Wasn't cheap.

That's just what I want to do but I was hoping I could keep the original visor and put a 5 inch monitor in same. How did they handle wiring can you see any wires going from visor to headliner? BTW your car looks totally awesome. Thanks Lauri

If you read my signature you will see I have kept everything looking stock and everything added is hidden. Plus I don't want a screen to distract me while driving as you are just asking for trouble but since I already play dvds for the surround sound why not put a screen in for the passengers viewing pleasure!!

If you want to recess your monitor in the visor you will have to have a special visor built. The wires are run through the frame work of the visor and are not visible. The next thing will be to figure out where to install your DVD player. Thanks for the compliment on the car. I'll post some updated pictures once the new wheels and tires are on.

Reggi914 here is what it cost me to have someone do this work
but keep in mind it was while I had the whole interior of the car stripped of all finish material for installation of the dynomat material.

Interior Upholstry Work
2 yds Suede Orange Headliner Mat -------------- $ 99.98
7 hrs Labor to install Headliner ------------------- $350.00
