My friend and I are installing my sub because the install i wanted the guy wanted to charge me 200 bux (just an install) in the area where the stock bose system would put the sub, I already had the sub and amp. It was pointless to pay him for something that my friend and I could do ourselves. Anywayz, before we do anything stupid, what is the best way to power the amp, running the wire to the battery?

 

the install is hardly that easy, and i would say well worth the 200 bucks. you need to dynamat the entire sub area, and run some 4ga cable to the battery.

 

we did teh sub area, we just need to run the cable to the battery... thats what the question was, whats the best way to do it

 

the only way to get power to the amp is run a cable to the battery. the first thread, a sticky, is a how to. got everything you need to know in there. it's where i got this link on how to run a cable from the batter to the glove.
