Default Prices etc will be posted within 48 hours

I know you guys have been waiting for this group but to get going and we are within 48 hours of doing it. Paul set the deadline of Feb. 20th to ensure there was enough people willing to buy to make a production run worth doing and be cost effective. I spoke to Paul at Streetnoyz who will be building and taking orders for the product. He told me he plans to post prices, method of payment, ordereing procedure, and length of time for the enclosure to be built etc within 48 hours so expect this information to be posted by Saturday afternnoon or earlier.

I will be leaving on Friday at 1pm and return by Sunday 11pm to go snow sking. I will help you with as much as I can before or after that time frame. I hope you guys enjoy your enclosure as much as I like mine.

Jeff

Default Mounting depth ?

Even though I am close to finishing my own fiberglass custom enclosure to house my JL 10W6 or possibly a 10W6v2, I am still interested. The enclosure I made came out great, and I will be posting a new thread this weekend with pics from start to finish, showing all phases of the construction. This will be a one of a kind, and I won't be going into production. The work has taken over 2 weeks to complete and consists of a fiberglass enclosure which fits perfectly into the hatch area behind the left rear wheel well. The top is an mdf baffle and a custom molded trim ring to allow the speaker to fire towards the hatch This enclosure with a JL10W6 in it sounds great. All I need to do now is paint, or vinyl cover it.

So, my impatience may have paid off, as I have something I am very happy with, and something that I did myself. If I choose to keep my enclosure, I can say that I did my entire install on my own.

Anyways, I can't see the price for Paul's enclosure being much cheaper than $250-300, but I will definitely need to know if it will hold my current speaker, as will many others here that are interested in this enclosure. Let me know if you can help me get this spec. The mount depth for a 10W6 is 5".

Thanks!

2. Jl is just a possiblty
3. my setup is listed in signature. That enclosed RF is located in same general location so you can see where it might be worth it to me.

Thanks for getting back to us...unfortunately, my impatience took over, and I made my own in the last 2 weeks...

I think it came out great, and it sounds wonderful with my JL10W6...

I will not be needing one, but all who order, I am sure, will be satisfied with the end product.

Here is my project (I am waiting for the custom match carpettign to arrive, anyday now):

Mikey Likes It and everyone else:

I am wrapping up a trip in Asia. I will call Paul when I get back to USA and to see what is up. Right now, I am more worried about getting home safely. There is a typhoon very close by expecting to hit us directly and I might not be able to get home with possible delayed/canceld flights + the fear of SARS on the plane too. When I left on the 10th, Paul said we were about 2 weeks away so hopefully we will have good news later this week. I will post an update as soon as I return ok. sorry for the delays guys.
