You still have to use the key, just like the S2K start button. Keep in mind, the key is what releases the steering column lock; I'm not trying to go overboard and redesign this to be completely like the Altima set-up; I don't have the stones, desire, etc.

Guys, I'm not looking to "corner" the market trying to sell this set-up. It's simply a challenge and with what I'm going through to get it designed, etc., I'm not sure I'd want to even make another one for someone. I will be more than glad to post a DIY once it actually works.

Time to find a totaled 07 altima. I have a friend that is a master when it comes to electronics(building and and custom programing PIC's). I hope I can get him interested in this. May be a year or so down the road but if he can make a fireworks program, and launching system I think he can find a solution to this . My goal is full keyless (G35 rent car in the family now and damn its so nice. Throw the keys in your pocket and forget about everything else )

Default Main Harness......

These are pics of the harness I just finished that will tie the control box to the START & STOP relays as well as interface with the ignition switch and harness, etc. All of the connectors are the crimp type but I have soldered them as well for extra strength and to try and minimize intermittent opens. Everything's been dressed with either heat-shrink tubing or electrical tape:

After undertaking this endeavor, an observation:

1) Note to self - Next time you have a "brainstorm" like this, don't!
