Docking Date...
I've been given a date of 27 January for the ship to arrive in Melbourne... then 5-7 working days for it to get to the dealership, assuming the dock workers strike is resolved by then?
Optimistic estimate - 5-7 February? Yay?

Man I'm not gonna sleep tonight, that the best news I've heard in ages. I've got the Zaino waiting in the garage just ready to smother and pamper it with.

Which dealer in Melbourne are you getting it through, I hope your dealer is right. My dealer just said not to except it before the launch date.

Ive been told no cars to be sold before the official launch which is in Queensland around 2nd week of February. Sound right to me. Can't have Z's driving around without before official release.

Checked with my dealer again (must be getting sick of my questions by now?), he will delivered the cars as soon as they arrive, he says that Nissan have not given the dealers instruction not to release the cars before the lauch date. The 3 cars in Melbounre are all Nissan owned, the gold one is the press car, the black one is an auto on test, and the third car my dealer not sure about.
I just would like to add, the dealership where I ordered my Z have been great, they even agreed to exchange th 18" alloys on my Track for Rays for the difference in cost.

I believe so, will know more this week. I will post the total change over price.
Nick (the sales manager) confirmed the price of the Rays as $4300, is now chasing up the spare parts price for the cast alloys, to work out the change over price.

Thats sweeeeeeet
I, like many others on this site don't feel exactly thrilled about not getting the Rays standard on the Track, or having to fork out $4300 . The only way I won't feel cheated is a fair swap over price for the standard wheels.
