Exclamation New sticky threads

First of the sticky threads (or notes as this forum labels them) is up. I'll be working on the comparison sticky tonight and then on the aussie dyno info sticky.

Any suggestions, changes etc let me know here. If you hate something let me know. I haven't done this before and I admit I'm not one who normally reads sticky posts.

lol

Well you will now ... hehehehe!

I hope they have a good merge function, that way you just merge all the threads that you want and then delete the "*****".

A sticky thread is basically one that'll stay at the top of the forum. In other words it won't drop off the end and be lost. They're good for keeping important info, notices etc where people can see them.

Initial comparison stuff is up. I've only got stuff from the Oz/NZ sections so far. I considered cut and pasting just the relevent info but thought this way the whole discussion was better preserved.

Let me know if I've missed anything etc.

<rant> damned Land Rover piece of junk </rant>

I've been unusually busy the last few days which has seen me away from a PC most of the time. That has meant that I haven't had a chance to expand the review thread or start on the dyno thread. The rest of the week is looking OK at this stage so we'll see.

I'm thinking of doing the dyno thread in a similar format to the review thread. Did you guys think that format was OK? Just links to the original threads? The only thing I'd likely do different with the dyno one is include a "leaderboard" so you could see at a glance who was making the most power etc. This would be for friendly competition only as we all know different dynos can't truly be compared etc. Would only list Oz and NZ cars of course.

In the end do which ever comes easy... we do realise this is donated time and we're grateful for the effort.

Yep I agree, we're not fussy. Well... not too fussy

I understand but I want to make sure it's at least useful so any suggestions are welcome.

Dyno thread is up. If I missed anyone please let me know as I did this pretty quickly.

And remember, it's just for fun and a way to see them all listed together.
