Practicing for AutoX
That was pretty hot.
A friend of mine is heading to VT next year, I'll tell him to look you guys up. He's got a VR6 Jetta. I'm sure he'd be interested in this stuff.

At most regional SCCA events you can run with you class and you can also do time only runs on top of that for practice. When you start to get serious about auto-x you might think about taking an evolution driving school.

Anyone else ever do anything like this?

There's a couple very tight but open turns in a the country which I sometimes run to confirm adjustments - but never to really practice.
Actually, my secret practice is mountain biking. It's an excellent opportunity to hone your reflexes and sense of speed. It honestly makes Solo2 activity in the 350z feel VERY controlled by comparison (everything's slower and the traction level is very consistent). Wurz and JPM to name a few have been doing that type of cross training as well.

Ironically, there's rumblings that his 'incident' is more related to two wheels than tennis. In this case, the vehicle is not powered by JPM, but more like HD.
