A bunch of the Chicago track crew attended a recent PCA event at Blackhawk. On hand was a Carrera GT. Caught by our very own BFJack on video, the Carrera slides out and nearly hits the wall. Turn up the sound!

Glad to see owners of 1/2 Million $ toys like to play with them! This guy DRIVES the one he owns. I happened to be with BFJack & Benny when the spin happened. I took some still pix, but I need to shrink to post. Here are a few I took after the "Event":

Only damage was that his "Check Engine" light stayed on.

500 HP CAN be tricky to control in a 3rd/4th gear corner!

BTW....zillinois was MUCH faster! With a STOCK motor!

Yup. He cooked it the prior lap and pressed even harder on the lap he went off.

 

I don't get it....Did we not hear him hit the tire wall? How was there no damage?

 

You are correct sir! He lost it exiting t4. Been there, done that.

Here is a shot of his filthy wheels with probable stone chips....on a $500,000 car! The shame! I hope he finds some pads that dust less soon, as I would be embarassed to drive his car looking this BAD!


BTW....he never hit the tire wall.

 

so what if he isnt fast its just cool and ballsy to take his car racing. What a cool guy man.

 

looks like 60-70.. but then again its hard to judge relative speed frm a stand still.

 

I was there as well out on the track during the incident. I have never seen a yellow flag being waved as vigorously.

Just as the gt goes out of frame...I hear a thud like a car smacking a wall or something...you guys that were there know what made that noise?

 

She was so busy waving the flag, that she didn't notice the driver and car were fine, off the track, and ready to return to the action!

 

Probably his sphincter slamming shut.

 

I know mine would've closed that loudly if I was about to wad up a 1/2 million $ car.

 

God I would give my left ******** to have one of those.....

 

....A carrerra GT I mean, I already have a sphincter.
