Seems to be a huge difference in lap times. Any more info on this data? Just seems a little wierd.
Any idea what other nationally competitive T2 cars run @ Heartland?

Since HPT is pretty much a new track all the past statistics will most likely be tossed for comparison's sake.

I think Schotz had the pole I believe at Runoffs last year in T2, so he's definitely capable as a driver, though he's in a different car this year so I'm not sure how well this car stacks up compared to last year.

Chuck Hemmingson won T2 last year at the Runoffs (in an STi), so I would consider him to be a capable driver and a good measuring stick for these results.

Bob Schader is one of our RMDiv racers here in Colorado, and he is an extremely quick driver. I believe he won the January National at Phoenix this year, and he's won at the Runoffs before, I think in a Sports 2000. I wouldn't consider his P1 to be a fluke, although I did expect the top 5 qualifiers to be closer.

Like you said Chuck won last year and Schotz was the pole setter so there are def. strong cars there. Last year Schader blew his motor after setting quick times in his 350Z and member Rob Hines started on the second row and got taken out while running 5th. So Schaders times bode well for the 350Z at the Runoffs at HPT. If Schader can get the lead he may be able to set the pace and pull away.

Yeah, watching the T2 race last year was painful -- watching all of the Zs get "mugged."

Then again, I think that last year just wasn't a good year for the Zs. This year will be better!
