Is it just me or is there always another track day after your last one every year? It wouldn’t be so bad if nobody I knew was going. But always someone is and say
-“Hey! You coming to [insert track name here] in 3 weeks? I’ll be there and so is [insert usual suspect name here]”…
Can’t people run out of reasonable track budget at the same time I do (should) ?
MidOhio with BMW Buckeye at the end of October (do cold days count as rain for tire pressure?).
A Putnam event with NASA before that. Haven’t been to that candy of a track this year.
I’m sure some dude will remind me of a VIR event some time before X-mass so I can finally try it…
I almost wish my Toyo’s were bald already…
Thanks for listening!

Or how about joining me at Barber Motorsports with PBOC on Nov 18th & 19th?
Or Sebring Dec 30 & 31st with Chin Motorsports.
Just because it is winter doesn't mean you have to stop track'in. Head south where it is warm all year round.

Nah. Lets get some winter tires and lets go there:
www.mecaglisse.com !
Maybe if I had an STI or EVO, that would be great in the winter. Yet, with the Z - I will stick with pavement.
Honestly - let me know if you are in for VIR, I am on the fence on this one as it will be a 10 hour drive for me.

No idea about VIR. I doubt it though. I probably have one more track week-end left in my tires. That's what will end this season's lapping.
I'll be doing a BMW event so I can get "recorded" track time and graduate to instructor ASAP. Then, lapping will be much more affordable. Instructing is fun (and scary...) have done it for firends. Now it's time to get "real".
I'll probably do VIR with ChinMotorsport next year. Getting the whole rig setup.

Oh - since you had RA-1's and I had Cups, we should compare an approximate amount of hot track time you where able to get on them. Since all I care about is cost vs time for good R-compounds, really don't care which one has better grip until I do wheel to wheel. When mine are gone I will let you know the amount of time I got out of them.

My budget for track related expenses was met last month, and I still have 4 events I REALLY want to attend by the end of this season. Unfortunately, and luckily, I have weak will power, and will just approve myself for extra funding. I'm just going to stop saving for retirement for the next couple months. Who needs to retire anyway?
