350Z > Me again!
Having found the limits of the car at Buttonwillow on street tires in December, I made some changes... A arms, BBK, RSR springs, and Koni's.
I made it out to Phoenix Intl Raceway (PIR) today and managed a few uninterrupted runs in my last set of the day. It was soooo rewarding. Even on street tires, I have a long way to go to get the most out of the new setup.
I was chasing a Caddy CTS-V (I think), and it was pure euphoria. The Z amazes me every time I take it out to the track, even moreso as it gets sorted out. I have R compounds sitting at home for AutoX, but I'm not taking them to a track until I find the new limits. Even wih mismatched tires, Falken RT615s up front and BFG KDWs in back, I never got squirrly. I got down to around 1:20 with a nearly stock motor and street tires, so there's plenty of room to grow.

I had the opportunity to test the new '07 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V at PIR back in March. For a roval, I find PIR to be entertaining and a good place to test and race at. The new B16 was able to catch and pass a Porsche Caymen, Pontiac GTO and some older Porsches and Corvettes. Wish I had a Z to play with there!
