That actually happened to me once.. I bought a set of new lugs and got the thread pitch wrong. (it was off by .25) and they torqued down corrrectly.. BUT they ate the studs up on my H&R Spacers..

I went for a test drive and everything started shaking violently.. I had actually lost a couple of nuts.. I was able to get it home and get new studs put in..

VALUABLE lesson learned there. ALWAYS double check what you are buying.

i actually lamost had the same thing happened. I left the track after my accident, car was vibrating really bad. It turns out i didnt torque my lug nuts.
