anyway. Good luck with it!! My GF just ran Pro-Solo down at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus NY and had a blast. My car's been apart more than in 1 piece this summer so I haven't gotten more than 3-4 Solo events all season

nope, not at all. thanks for the snide remark!

although it was very nice flying into the base right next to heartland park and not having to take a shuttle from kansas city.

We ran 3 Tours and I muddled through.
Valdosta (5th of 16 in BSP in a stock 03)
Walnut Ridge (might as well have stayed home)
Huntsville (3rd in BS behind Carter and Asher).

It would be nice to have someone to talk to. RX-8 drivers tend to gather among themselves to the exclusion of others.
Hey Mike......Carter and I will be happy to talk to Josh and you too if you promise not to come by our paddock spot reving that big engine in front of our little weed eater rotary's.

Wow, really? I have used those and couldn'thave been less impressed, especially with the most important autox quality, initial cold bite. Let us know how they do!

Mike- stockers huh? Interesting as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys do, best of luck, and kick some 8 butt!

I have the same impression for Hawks...not to great for intial bite, but they hold up a bit better for higher and sustained temps.

I was actually planning to go back to OE pads for AutoX - I thought the intial bite was great...they just didn't hold up to track temps.

Somehow I doubt my naturally aspirated SM2 Z would fare well out there. It would be cool to run a stock '07 though. Anyway, good luck against the RX-8's.
I had a chance to drive one at an autocross and it was a very nice car for the task at hand. Our Z's feel heavy and numb in comparison. On a proper road course, we have the advantage though.

Well, I'm in.

Got registered.
Got a place to stay.
Got a set of tires (which will have a few more runs on them this weekend).

Now I just need to get there with everything intact and I'll be "set." Maybe third time will be a charm (or at least a trophy)?

I have to get after my son to register also. 11 in B Stock so far. SS has 51 and AS 40 entries.

B Stock entrants are either procrastinators or not coming??

In true SCCA racing the RX8 is in a slower class T3 than the 350Z which runs in T2.

There's no question in my mind that I would be very competative with you in your own car.

My first shot at you will come in 2009, unless you come to any SEDIV events next year.
Hope you've been well Jason.

You're going to follow that up by posting some of your national-level results, right? Otherwise, that assertion's pure comedy.

If you were such a Jedi you would be racing and getting paid for it, as opposed to paying to compete. Just the truth. Didn't Carter take you pretty nicely on Sunday last year, in 'inferior' equipment? On an '8' course?

If you are in the area, you are always welcome to co-drive my car anytime. Open ended offer.
