Default Need a dyno at Mid-Ohio this weekend- 6/22

Hey Guys,

We need a dyno at or near Mid-Ohio this weekend, June 22nd. This is a Sunday, but it is pretty much the only day that will work for us. Anyone have any leads?

THANKS!

Backstreet Performance. Located in Medina, about 45-60 minutes north of Lexington.

But, they also have a portable dyno. Maybe they would be interested in bringing it out?

i can't believe nobody in Mansfield has a dyno. A lot of racing heritage up there not to have one.

Thanks a ton guys. We tried Slow, but they're not available on Sunday. Bummer because they have exactly what we need, which is a dyno that will hold a constant RPM level, and not just do pulls. Backstreet can just do pulls. They have a friction brake, but it's not as reliable.

I'll try Mid-Ohio. Thanks a ton guys!

Maybe you could set something up with SlowMotion - did you tell them this is a Koni car? Maybe if you hooked them up with a couple pit passes for the weekend they would be willing to help you out on a Sunday. They are good guys.

Thanks for the help Jim. I explained our situation and I think the just had previous commitments. They did try to help by directing me to others.

Eventually we found a shop east of Columbus that has a Mustang Dyno that has the brake that will allow us to maintain a constant RPM when we're tuning the motor.

Now we need to find a truck that can tow us down from Mid-Ohio Sunday AM!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! You guys are awesome!

if you need a truck from Mid-Ohio to Columbus, how are you even getting the car there? Just curious? G/L over the weekend!

We've teamed up with an ST team. The transporter we are traveling in will be in the paddock supporting the ST race and we cant move the transporter until the end of the day. So we are leaving everything behind and just moving the car.

Saw your car at Mid-Ohio today. Why weren't you running?

Todays race was ST only. I was just there to dyno the car. We retuned the motor and found our lost power. Looking forward to Watkins Glen!
