Registration is between 8am - 9:30am. Enter at gate 4 (when you will see whole bunch of planes and a parking lot full of cones - you are in the right place)
It is $35 for non SCCA members and $25 for SCCA members.
There will be 4 heats. You race in two heats, work in one (working is actually kind of cool - you get to see what other drivers are doing on the track) and rest in one. I don't know what the order will be. Ideally you will get 4 runs/heat, so 8 runs for the day. However, due to timing problems that I have seen so far, 8 runs is wishfull thinking. 5-6 runs is more realistic.
This is a great link for beginners it will tell you everything you need to know

About 120+ people will probably show up to this event. There will be a variety of cars ranging from kitcars to 911 turbo etc. All cars are classed according to their performance and additional modifications. For a quick example:
A bone stock Z is in B class or BS
If this is your first autocross season and you have a Z you will be in Novice B Stock or NBS.
If your Z has 19 inch rims you will be in Novice B stock Prepared or NBSP.
Don’t worry about classes and competition for your first run. It’s all about the fun factor.
All the novices compete against each other regardless of the car – the times are handicapped according to the PAX index (see the link above). My last autocross, the novice group had everything from a sentra to a brand spanking new 911 turbo (nice ride).
I strongly recommend that you go. You will have a blast and learn a lot about your Z.
Hope to see you there

Ok, that answered all my questioins...(Just went to Englishtown raceway website)-- it is 2 hour drive from me (Atlantic City), so unless I find someone local to ride with me or race their car also, I prob won't go...
