Default The car is finally coming home

Well, after two full weeks, and 3 days the car finally comes home tomorrow. I cannot wait to get it in the garage and start taking it apart. I think both my wife and my wallet can wait though on ordering whatever it’s going to take to get it back on track. It should be soon though. I am looking forward to getting back out there with you guys.

Oh, and those of you that have Haulmark Race trailers, try to never damage your spindles. The Dexter Torflex axles are great when running, but can only be fixed and replaced as a whole axle unit, and they ain’t cheap. Plus they are a JIT manufacturer which means 12 day wait on unanticipated orders.

details on what happened to the trailer???

Im currently looking at getting an enclosed trailer in the next year or two and have been slowing looking into them.........im my mind a trailer should be zero to very minimal maintenance.........my current flat bed car hauler is and I would hate to be spending time and money on it........

The trailers are fairly maintenance free UNLESS you clip a small boulder on the side of the road because you mind is thinking about what needs to be fixed on your broken race car.

Luckly I was pulling out of a driveway and moving very slow.

Thanks.
We we definately know the clutch is shot. It wouldn't even go into the garage, and a large cloud of smoke appeared very quickly as the motor spun at the first attempt at reverse. The goal is to have it ready for the First April event at VIR North.
