Default CL Brakes

Has anyone ever used these or heard anything about them? My Vette buddy is considering trying them next year. Apparently there is no pad break in needed. They are a Euro company and this place is the only American distributor I could find.

I've got a set waiting to try out. With my mechanical issues this season I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

Are you going to be able to try them out before the end of the year? If so, let me know what you think and what you have used before to compare them to. I am done for the season up here in the north, so I will not have a chance to try them until April. Let me know. Thanks!

I highly doubt I'll get a chance to try them out, but if I do I will post up results.

Never, ever true for a pad that's used on a race track.

Sorry. I was mistaken. Their website claims that there is very minimum break in required. Not none at all. Here is some info from Essex Parts' website. They are an American vendor:

CL Brakes Sintered Pads are the most user-friendly brake pads ever developed. The revolutionary new sintered material allows you to spend more time on the track, and less time in the pits chasing brake problems. No more vibrations, trashed rotors, warm-up laps, and constantly swapping pads. Some features of CL Sintered Pads include:

-Incredible cold bite
-Nearly impossible to fade
-Last twice as long as most semi-metallic race pads
-Little to no bed-in required
-Semi-porous: retain bite in rain, snow, dirt
