Default Driving gloves and shoes

Starting to research what I want for xmas

Lemme know what you guys use, what you like and don't like about it.

For now, my puma's do the job since they have a flat thin sole and mesh top which allows my feet to breathe. However I don't have any gloves and am starting to look for a set preferrably below $100 (Sparco, alpine, etc.)

Thanks!

Lol I really did try to search...guess I missed them.

I don't know if I like the piloti's, I like a thin sole for more pedal feeling

Thanks steve

I think it's preferred to have the SFI rating for fire protection, so yes, I would opt for the gear with SFI rating.

Seems like more people in those threads have G-force racing gloves, too bad we don't have many local places for me to try them on...

I actually like my g-force gloves and they have lasted quite a while, but I will say trying Skeens Alpine-Stars that they are nicer...I am just not sure if they are 3X as nice.

Shoe wise I like the simpson's and gforce as well, but the SFI Pumas are quite a bargain (if they are still making them).
