Not to mention almost all track safety inspections require the lights to be working. I know we will pull you from the track if your brake lights are not working.

No, you just unplug the abs motor under the hood next to the brake booster. Its the top grey connector.

The one from behind the steering column? or the g/yaw sensor box behind the ash tray? I might just go with the unplug at the engine bay. Before I had the Z I had a 240sx without a speedo, so I think I can get use to that.

I have a 04' Perfmance trim Z; I'm not sure if the plug is anywhere different than the other trim models. I should probably take a picture so you guys can see and for future reference for others.

yaw sensor has nothing to do with ABS.

he means the ABS controller behind the steering wheel. Much easier to just unplug the ABS motor under the hood.

That's not the one I unplug. The one that I unplug has a locking lever on it, and to see it, you need to take off the plastic shroud. Just remove a few more of those tabs, and lift up the shroud. You should see another plug that is elongated...it's located near the side wall. I've put a box in the area where you can find the plug. One caveat to my comments...your ABS unit looks different than mine. I have an '04 Enthusiast.

If you still have a hard time finding it, PM me your cell phone number, and I'll try sending you a photo of it via text messaging.

Yeah I have 04' Performance trim. I'll take a look at it later and see if I can find it. Thanks for the help.
