Update backdate thoughts? Nismo vs ENT
So I was thinking about BSP today, and started thinking. What could be updated/backdated from a Nismo 350z to a standard 350z, at least what would be beneficial?
Any chance the hood/hatch are lighter? Anything else worth thinking about?
Suspension probably doesn't make much difference, same with wheels due to the allowances already in BSP for those parts.
What about interior, is there anything different on the interior that may help?

From my understanding the only real difference on the 350Z where aero body panels and seam welded chassis. Rest of mods where focused on suspension, brakes and motor. I dont think there is anything of significance that you cant already touch in BSP. But I might be missing something.
Too bad they didnt import the Nismo 380 RS!
On 370Z Nismo I have to laugh as in BSP my car has no advantage over a standard car other than aero. In hillclimbing legal aero is something that counts. I suspect I will have two sections where I'm doing over 105 MPH that get real hairy without aero. Its nice to have a car that rules allow to run in street classes with a wing, front splitter and rear defuser as it does give the car an advantage when doing events over 75 MPH. Its a nice loop hole in hillclimbing rules where they often use Solo 2 rules for street car classes.
I am ahead of the BSP game however as I can run my stock suspension and focus on the weak points of the car like LSD and heavy rotating parts such as flywheel, brake rotors, I really think all I will do to suspension will be to add adjustable control arms and really nice shocks. OH wait that is replacing the suspension! LOL! However I like the current springs and swaybars as they are now. Cant say I'd want to change much in that department. The car nicely clears all the bumps etc that I have to drive over everyday. I cant imagine spring the car any heavier as I'm not into bouncing down the road.

Yeah, I was half hoping that the 350z Nismo had a different hatch or hood that I could swap to for weight savings
Guess that idea is pretty much useless though. I'll go back to figuring out how to pay for all the mods I need to make

I would start writing letters to www.sebscca.com (I just did)
How long does it take for them to make a ruling and will it become effective immediately?
