Default Forged Performance: Roll cages save lives.

Had a customer drop his street/track R35 back off to us here at Forged Performance for a cage build. This particular car is being prepped to run some very fast times. Previously we have installed JRZ Coilovers, Aeromotions rear wing, AP Rotors and MANY more road race specific modifications. Today we finished up the cage build and I thought I would share some photos

Very nice boxed supports and MIG welded cage. Did you take any special precautions to protect the R35 electronics and wiring during the build? Does the cage feature an under dash front bar connecting the two front down tubes?

Also, I assume it's 1.75 .090-wall DOM material- any idea what it weighs? Will the full OEM interior be going back in after it's painted?

Update: Rear half cage build for this GT-R has been completed and in my personal opinion came out great

I think they're pretty much done, that looks like a 5 point roll bar that's been painted. I don't think they have a front half to work on. Looks good!

You guys do great work. While I'm still a year or two away from it, Forged is at the top of my short list to build a cage for my Zed.
