Default NASA-SE at CMP - Who's coming?

I saw Laze1, EH, John D, and a few others.

Who else is heading down?

I think we will have a Movie night Saturday after awards. I am bringing the projector and a few movies but also looking for suggestions.

Laze1 and John,
Wonder if you will be faster than me here.

Guess we will find out.

I was there. Have posted some on the NASA-SE forums. I was in a red G35 6MT. It was my first time on a track. I was kind of overwhelmed by it all and pretty much sucked at first. By the end of the weekend I sucked a lot less.

Anyway, it was a a ton of fun and I'm hoping to be back at CMP in February. I'm new to the 350Z boards but I think I'll get more and better advice here on how to improve my G a little than on the G35Driver site.

Trying to figure out how you outran me with slower laps and losing to me on Saturday??

Oh and even the win on Sunday was slower than me and I caught up from 8 positions behind you. All I have to say is you better be glad I didn't get a chance to qualify and started in last place.

Thnx for the praise...I think it looks pretty mean...and functional

5Zigen FN01R-C 17x10 ET25 wheels - square setup w/274-40-17 Hoosier R6s all around

The FN01R-C in this offset ET25 are hard to find...but they work great! I use a 5 MM spacer in front, no spacers in the rear, and have proper clearance all around.

Note: I also use extended studs to properly support the spacers...

Some dealers may still have some: http://www.frsport.com/index.php?tar...oduct_id=10317

some people have some FS used: http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=803140

Lol, I still say you better be glad I started last while you were on the PTB pole.

Now I will be honest and admit you were faster than me at RR. I was really slow there.

Hey guys. I'm really interested in getting started this year. I'm in the Spartanburg/Greenville area, so CMP is a pretty reasonable drive. When will you guys be out there again?

I'll be there. Just HPDE-1. I've driven CMP once in a G35 coupe. Sold it and just got an 07 350Z. I have no experience anywhere else but I liked CMP a lot and NASA-SE runs a tight ship.

SparkleCity, get some track pads, some ATE blue and sign up. Very easy. Great track. Great people. Assuming you're a beginner, HPDE-1 only has 10 people signed up as of yesterday. I'd love to see more Z cars out there. PM me if you need more info about going to the track for the first time.....if you're advanced, talk to mhoward1......there are only 4 or 5 people signed up for comp school.

No kidding! My car is actually in Charlotte, N.C. at SOHO Motorsports being prepped, so the drive to CMP from there won't too bad at all.

I'll actually be running in HPDE2 on the 10th/11th first, as I try to qualify to compete in Time Trials.

Only 2 weeks to go!!!

- Matt

Matt, I'd like to come by and look at your car between runs. I exchanged some emails with the SOHO guys a while back but do not have any immediate plans to mod my car.
