Tires can be purchased from Jackson Motorsports...as well as some regular NASA tires suppliers...and others. But these guys can also provide your BFG stickers/patches/Blig

Jackson Motorsports Group in partnership with BFGoodrich has a racer program that allows us to offer these tires at a discount to racers. Our price for the tires you’ll be running (MSPN 74887 – 275/35-18 – BFG R1) is $285.00 each plus tax and our shipping cost is only $10 per tire. We also offer Michelin and BFGoodrich race and Ultra High Performance tires at discounts to our racers. If you have any additional questions about pricing or availability, you can call us at 800-RACE-BFG.

Paul Hanna (Paul.Hanna@JacksonMG.com) is the BFGoodrich Pavement Manager who works specifically with those running R1’s in series’ like NASA and SCCA. Should you have any questions about setup recommendations for the tires you can contact him via email.

What wheels were they using on the development car? Of all the parts they could have just spec'd or recommended they chose nuts over wheels.

Rules say 13 mm max , so pretty much 10's unless you have 13's made.

• Offset: +30mm
• Weight: 21 lbs 4 oz
• Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 245/40/18
• Rear
• Size: 19x10.0
• Offset: +30mm
• Weight: 29 lbs 8 oz
• Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 265/35/19

Excellent observation!

I'll probably run a 10mm and a 3mm spacer, which I have on-hand, until I can get some 13s made.

Got my tires lickity-split from them. I also ordered the stickers and suit patches, which are shipping soon. If we get 3 Zs, JMG also handles the BFG contingency portion for us.

From words posted on the NASA forum, it sounds like they are only lowering the weights slightly, with no other changes. This is not official.

Right.

20 would work on the 9 +35 for sure. Even a 25 would fit, but we're limited to 13mm anyway as others have said. I currently run 25mm spacers all-around on the 18x10 +38 set-up, and there's still room.

List of things I will not do unless forced:

1. Check Lug Nuts
2. Check Spacers
3. Check for heater core/blower fans
4. Check Wheel weights
5.

Anybody notice this in the Spec Z contingency document?

"Product awards are only available for the first points race of each regional racing weekend"

But I also notice the the HPD has the same language...

Got my Spec Z Suspension today...looks like high quality stuff. But looks like setting this up will take some "test & tune" days...my other dampers where only single adjustable...

KW uses a two springs per damper both front and rear...that is the 1st time I have seen that setup...

Scott, what rear upper shock mount did you use?

Stock OEM Nissan mounts? Or Aftermarket?

It looks like the sways have three adjustment holes. Do both the front and rear have 3?

I didn't have the sway bars yet when I was out last time, so I ran the NISMO sways that were on the T2 car already. The R/C were set at the middle setting; I'll be doing some toying around and adjusting Friday-after-next in prep for the first event. I have the wavetrac going in now, too.

Stock shock mounts. Let me know what you think about that silly helper spring. My box also only had one adjustment tool instead of the two. What are you doing about the wheels? Waiting for the "OK" on the 9" RPF1s?

My Tool kit had one spanner, one "***", and one 2MM tool...and a crappy instruction manual...with nothing better available on the KW web site.

For wheels, I purchased 4x RPF1 18x10 ET38...to run as a square setup until the rules are locked in, and if needed I will buy some 18x9 for the fronts...I will run spacers as needed.

Also ordered a set of BFG tires this week...

So I should be ready to run no later than the June NASA-SE event @ Road Atlanta
