No, was too busy with the other changes. Hindsight is 20:20, and I should have taken some.
Here is a vid of me pushing the SpecZ a bit (on a pretty spent set of Hohos), and a new personal best.

Man that track looks fast! Nice driving Scott! Are you allowed to run through the yellow arrows?
And btw, how is everyone getting so much camber from the stock a-arms? Just offset bushing?

If pavement isn't blocked off, it's fair game.
thunderhill is a lot of fun if you know how to keep your momentum going, I use to be scared of a lot of turns and take it really slow. After this weekend I got a lot faster and now its way more fun lol. Really fast track, slowest I get down to (and im still really slow there) is about 40mph, fastest is 123mph
For all you guys "in-the-know" about what it takes to prep a car. . . How much do you think a completely-prepped, inspected-and-ready-to-race SpecZ would go for if someone was shopping for a car that's ready to drop in and race? For the same of argument, let's assume said car has a salvage title, hence it's race car nature. . . $20k? $30k?
Building 2 sell one? Spec Miata prices are crazy, $9500-23000.

I'm not even gonna look at spec 944.

Agreed...and I have been shopping for some other prospective Spec Z drivers/owners...and that is about right.
Even If you can get a properly caged car for $15-17k, it will still cost ~$7k on top of that to play. I recently found a decent PTB car for $17K, and that would still need ~$10k in parts and spares to race competitively in Spec Z. And that price doesn't include a "fresh" stock but powerful engine (semi-cheater
).
Also found a good T2 car for $25K...and that would still need to be converted to Spec Z...

So if you want to build an entry and put a hot shoe in it, look around in your region. Talented drivers are out there.
